Captain Alan is a young man who believes he is a pirate captain. He and his best mate, Jeremy, set out to find a vessel to spread his Aunt’s ashes on the open waters.
A short film made for the Chicago 48 Hour Film Project. My team was given requirements (a character, line of dialogue, prop, and genre) on Friday at 7pm. Shot the film Saturday and Sunday morning. Edited all day Sunday and submitted by 7pm.
Premiered at the Logan Theatre and Musicbox Theatre in Chicago, IL.
Nominated for Best Writing at the festival.
